Not all old stuff is tough, but most tough stuff is old. Maybe it's survivorship bias, with just as many old FJs rusting away in farmers' fields, but when half of those could have a battery throw in 'em and tackle a trip through the jungle, you know the school of old comes with its ad-vintages.
While our tees are preshrunk 100% cotton, you should expect up to 10% shrinkage for Fitted Tees.
For Heavy Duty shirts (slightly boxier with fuller sleeves) expect ~5% shrinkage.
