There was a time when automakers made practical variants of their main lines. This wasn't some slap-two-more-doors-but-still-call-it-a-coupe jobs, no! We still had style and function. Sure it looked like a P that fell on its back, but a lower load height and no pesky roofline to worry about and this truck made economy class a great choice for the everyman.
