A couple weeks ago we read about a young boy’s fight with cancer and his father’s wish to organize a car show in his honor. Connor’s Day was scheduled to take place as a relatively small car gathering on September 8, 2012. Word of the event hit the Internet via
Scoobynet, and the automotive community rushed to support Connor as the
story went viral. Over 1000 fellow car enthusiasts attended the event in Meltham Huddersfield, UK. Connor was able to experience the warmth and kindness of our extended automotive family, and perhaps most importantly, see a bunch of cool cars. While blipshift wasn’t able to attend in person, we contacted a family representative and arranged to have a
shirt sale in support of Connor’s Day for one week with all net proceeds going to the Candlelighters Trust charity. With the help of generous blipshift customers, we raised over $2,000 US. Blipshift is grateful to have been able to contribute to Connor’s Day and wish Connor & his family well. If you’d like to donate directly to Candlelighters Trust, Connor’s family’s designated charity for the event, please vist
