There are threads, sure, but we've been stubbornly persisting long enough that T-shirts aren't exactly string theory. What is complicated is turning a few fleshy electrical impulses into a torso-ready piece of art ready to be screened, loaded, inked, cured, and shipped. In an age of instant-gratification creativity, we're all the more thankful for the talented artists from all corners of the Mercator projection whose wrist cramps and computer crashes continue to keep that tee drawer full of S-rank swag. This past year featured a particular highlight with our best-selling design ever, but amidst the now-400 artists we've worked with, there's plenty to celebrate with the gift of the golden torso.

Dungeons and Diff Lockers II

Whenever you get a whole scene to work as a shirt graphic it's always incredible to see, and the way the artist was able to render the northern lights felt really gorgeous and epic. I've never driven under the northern lights but I imagine it captures the feeling of driving under the real thing.

Roll Out

Unlike a poster, photograph, or NFT (remember that nonsense?), the artistic medium of the torso often rewards those who integrate the lumpy, 3-dimensional canvas into the design itself. Or at least we like to think so. The intakes and other negative space elements really work here, and the final tweak of shaping the frame into this recognizable form made such a difference to the design as a whole.

Mercs Eye View

A fantastic artistic interpretation of a notable moment in racing history. Visually appealing, yet strangely abstract to outsiders. But to those who know, it tells the harrowing story from a new perspective.

RE-TR-O

I won't be able to get one in the garage until Powerball hits so until then, I'll have to appreciate those clean lines by checking out the design on my chest.
